The information we collect depends on how you interact with us.

Information you provide to us, by activity
  • Membership application — first and last name, business/ministry name, position/title, email address, cell phone number, referral source, and your acknowledgment of the Member Responsibilities Agreement.
  • Event registration (Quarterly Kingdom Connection Call, Virtual Summit, and similar) — name and email address, used to distribute Zoom links, access details, and follow-up information.
  • Virtual Coffee & Prayer — name and email address, used to distribute Zoom links and related communications.
  • Newsletter / blog opt-in — email address, used to send newsletters and blog updates.
  • Contact inquiries, social media DMs, and keyword DM flows — email address and anything else you include in your message. We may collect email addresses through general inquiries, direct messages, and keyword-based flows (for example, commenting “PODCAST” or “CONNECT” on a social post to receive links via DM).
Information we collect automatically
  • Device and log data — IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, referring and exit pages, date/time stamps, and error logs.
  • Usage data — pages viewed, links clicked, time spent on pages, and interaction with site features.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 7 below.
Information from third parties
  • Service providers and platforms — website hosting, analytics, email service providers, SMS providers, CRM tools, and payment processors.
  • Social media platforms — if you interact with our pages or use keyword DM automations, those platforms and our automation tools may provide us information in accordance with their privacy settings, your settings, and their policies.
02How We Use Your Information

We use your information for the following business and operational purposes:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain our website, membership services, and programs.
  • Process registrations, purchases, payments, and transactions.
  • Communicate with you about memberships, events, resources, service changes, and administrative messages.
  • Provide customer support, respond to inquiries, and manage relationships with members, attendees, sponsors, and partners.
  • Send marketing and promotional communications, subject to your choices and applicable law.
  • Personalize content, improve our offerings, and develop new programs.
  • Administer surveys, promotions, and event operations, including check-in and attendee communications.
  • Monitor and help prevent fraud, misuse, unauthorized access, and other illegal activity.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights and agreements.
03Legal Bases for Processing (Where Applicable)

Depending on your location and the nature of the processing, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases:

  • Consent — where you have provided consent, for example for certain marketing communications or SMS messages.
  • Contract — where processing is necessary to provide services you request, such as membership or event registration.
  • Legitimate interests — to operate and improve our organization, maintain security, and communicate with you, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Legal obligation — to comply with applicable laws and regulations.
04Email Marketing and CAN-SPAM Compliance

By providing your email address, you consent to receive commercial and informational emails from ACBW, subject to your right to opt out at any time. In accordance with the CAN-SPAM Act:

  • Consent — we only send marketing emails to individuals who have opted in or have an existing business relationship with us.
  • Transparency — marketing emails will be clearly identified as an advertisement or solicitation where required and will include ACBW’s physical mailing address.
  • Opt-out — every marketing email includes a clear and conspicuous unsubscribe link. We honor all opt-out requests within ten (10) business days. You may also contact us using the information in Section 12 to request removal.
05Kingdom Text Alerts (SMS) — TCPA & FTSA Compliance

ACBW operates an SMS program called Kingdom Text Alerts to provide updates on membership, events, opportunities, and Kingdom LeadHERship initiatives, including recurring automated promotional and personalized marketing text messages.

A. How we collect mobile numbers
  • Membership registration and application forms.
  • Event signup and registration forms where a phone number is requested.
B. Prior express written consent (opt-in)

By providing your mobile number and affirmatively opting in — for example, by checking an unchecked consent box on a form — you provide your prior express written consent to receive recurring automated promotional and personalized marketing text messages from ACBW at the number you provide.

Consent is not a condition of membership, purchase, or participation in any ACBW service.
C. Program details
  • Message frequency will vary.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Supported carriers may change without notice.
D. FTSA requirements for Florida recipients
  • Quiet hours — commercial solicitation texts are sent only between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM in the recipient’s local time zone.
  • Frequency cap — no more than three (3) commercial solicitation texts to a Florida recipient in any 24-hour period.
  • Opt-out removal window — we cease commercial solicitation texts within fifteen (15) days of receiving your opt-out request.
E. Opt-out (STOP) and help (HELP)
  • Opt-out — reply STOP to any Kingdom Text Alerts message at any time. After you text STOP we will send one additional message to confirm your opt-out, and we may retain a record of the request to help ensure compliance.
  • Help — reply HELP or contact us using the information in Section 12.
F. 10DLC and carrier compliance

Our messaging campaigns may be registered under applicable 10DLC (10-digit long code) standards, and we comply with carrier requirements designed to support deliverability and compliance.

G. Operational vs. marketing messages

If you are a member and provide your phone number, we may also send non-marketing membership or operational messages, such as urgent scheduling changes or important administrative notices. Opting out of marketing messages may not affect purely transactional or operational texts where permitted by law; you may request that we stop all non-essential texts by contacting us.

06Disclosure of Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to third parties for money.

We may disclose your information in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers — vendors that perform services for us, such as payment processing, email and SMS delivery, analytics, hosting, and customer support. These parties may use your information only to provide services to ACBW and are contractually required to protect it.
  • Business transfers — in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, dissolution, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
  • Legal disclosures — where required by law or in the good faith belief that action is necessary to comply with legal process, respond to lawful requests, protect our rights, investigate suspected fraud or violations, or protect the safety of users or the public.
  • With your direction or consent — when you direct us to share information or otherwise provide consent.

08Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including to provide services you request (such as maintaining membership records), comply with legal, accounting, tax, and reporting requirements, and resolve disputes and enforce agreements.

Retention periods vary based on the type of information and the purpose for which it was collected. When we no longer need personal information, we take reasonable steps to delete, de-identify, or securely dispose of it.

09Data Security and Florida Information Protection Act (FIPA)

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Breach notification. In accordance with the Florida Information Protection Act (FIPA), Fla. Stat. § 501.171, in the event of a security breach involving your unencrypted personal information, we will notify you as expeditiously as possible and no later than thirty (30) days after determination of the breach, unless a law enforcement agency determines that notification will impede a criminal investigation.
